I love chess, so thats why I took my, acient chess set and took a ONE picture of each chess figure in lightwave to create a perfect figure such as a glass you need to draw one line only. I used 3point lighting for this as you might see in the shadows, renedring the 600x400 image took 2m 3s (123.9 seconds).

Here I used 1 point lighting, which effect do you like more? I changed it to white and black figures (7m23s)

here I updated the 3 point lighting picture and reduced the antiallizing to 7 passes becuse it was set to 17 passes which crates a glow, unnatural..

those both look REALLY good. I personally prefer the third one
though the black pieces are really dark, kinda hard to see the detail on them.
