This says it all.

Quote:

Various versions of Turing can convert different formats of files. Turing 4.0.5 for Windows can load BMP files and JPG files. Unfortunately, due to strictly enforced patents on the GIF compression algorithm, Turing will not implement importation of GIF pictures until the patents expire in June 2004.

Im saying, people told me you can't make a gif animator because Turing can't use GIF's until copyright expires, and it expires in june 2004........

wouldn't that be really hard... to make a gif animator cause you have to put all the image together, i dunno.

No, you dont know. Actually I'm not sure how hard that would be. I think it would be pretty easy. You just loop how ever many images you want.

loop
put image1.bmp shiznit
delay(50)
put image2.bmp
delay(50)
put image3.bmp
end loop

probably something like that.

Yea, and the quality would depend on how many you put in.. I guess, so it wouldnt skip like 10 frames...

Probably, I dunno if that is the case though, or else they wouldn't make a such a big fuss. (?)

i thought you wanted to make a gif animator where someone chose the pics they wanted and then the program made it.
