I am going to submit something for this project as well... and I think it's going to be quite awesome.

Nah, mine won't count towards winning, it doesn't quite follow the rules, it just provides a good opportunity to show off what I'm working on.

@varman is there any particular reason you're promising cases to potentially all of compsci? There's at least 20 of us who could submit a working program by the end of this week (other's don't go on enough to see it, but could do it if they happened to see it). You're really willing to give out $1200 in cases?

I HIGHLY doubt that 20 will submit a working program by the end of this week. And yes, I am willing to give out that much in cases.

Very intriguing way you have of running a contest there, Varman.

Anyways, @Ama. It's really not about winning, it's just more about showing some of the hard work you do, or something you created that you want to show off.

A lot of people pass these over because they think their not good enough, but if you put your mind to it, you can make an amazing program.

I'd say something about how you're trolling the boy, but it's too amusing to make me want to stop.... *grabs popcorn*

@mirhagk I agree. I used to think my original space game was garbage, but people gave me amazing feedback on it. Felt pretty good.

Programming is an art. Consequentially, people tend to think their own work is bad.
