Hey guys, I joined this forum around 8 months ago asking questions about compsci program at waterloo. Now Im at a crossroad again, finished 8 months of school, now found a decent coop job. But Im wondering what are the chances of me landing a business job in the future with a compsci degree. Because I tend to be the person that likes to try different things, so I dont want to be stuck with compsci my entire life. I know it is difficult to get a business job without a business related degree. But right now Im deciding whether I should work towards certain business certificates. Will that help me? Btw I just finished 1st year University. Ty for reading over this and Ty in advance.

During coop (this one, or those in the future), you could let your boss know about your interests, and see if you can get a project (or maybe just a small side-project) that will give you some business exposure. If you'll like it enough to want to do more, you'll have something relevant to put on your CV.
