I dunno. But there's way to many people asking if they will, without doing any research.
-If you can't do math, forget it.
-If your average is below 85, forget it.
-If you're lazy, forget it. You'll fail out even if you get accepted.
-If your average is above 85, you've got a shot. Extra-curricular really helps out here.
-If your average is above 90, you'll probably get in.
-OMG I haz a 70 in one of my classes! Oh well. It might be a bit harder to get in (esp. if your bad mark is math or English) but you've got a shot.
Anyway, no matter your qualifications, it can't hurt to apply. If you don't get in, so what. Another fine school might take you. If you do, well, that was your objective wasn't it?
If I haven't convinced you, go to the Student Life board. Damn near every thread is exactly what you want to ask. |

That's pretty much the template response to every "what can I do to improve my chances for getting into UWaterloo?" "Your English mark". |

My english mark is able to bring the top 6 mark from 96 to 94 atm. Though I'm in g11, but still. Hopefully the same won't happen next year.
(Go figure out my english mark. lol) |

Grade 11 marks don't matter. Work your ass off next year, and slack for the rest of this year. |

Grade 11 marks matter for early acceptances and huge entrance scholarships |

Except that Waterloo is not big on "huge scholarships", as they get way too many applicants as it is. That is to say, there are still some scholarships, and the marks do matter for that, but you are much more likely to get a bigger scholarship from some other University than UWaterloo. |

Probably? At the very least, you could take a CS minor with just about anything. |

I know a lot of people doing that double degree program. It would involve taking classes at both UW and WLU. |
