Simple question, possibly not so simple answer. How important is getter a Master's degree in Computer Science as opposed to a Bachelor's for someone wanting to work in industry? Obviously for an Academic job at a University a graduate's degree is a must, but how much weight does it hold for companies like Google, RIM, Microsoft, Sony etc? |

Depends on what you want to do at those companies. For research/experimental positions, a specific graduate degree could be of an advantage. For a typical SDE position, a Bachelor's is enough and time spend in the industry is likely more valuable than staying in academia. |
