Hi everyone!!
Im totally new to turing and I have a couple questions i need to do for class. If you could help out, that would be awesome!

10. A homeowner takes out a mortgage for $120000 at 10 3/4% per year. At the end of each year an amount of $24000 is paid. Write a program to show how the
%mortgage is paid off, year by year, until nothing is owned.

11. Write a program to simulate the playing of a simple dice game(one die). Roll the die to get a value from 1-6, and that is your point. Now keep
%rolling until you get the same value(your point) again and see how many rolls it takes. Program it so you can play this game repeatedly.

Ps. I'm working with a normal turing program.

Thanks so much!! Very Happy

I'm sure your teacher has given you all the information you need to be able to create both of these programs.

How about you show us what you've done, and what the problems are, and we'll see if we can help you fix it?

This isn't a forum for doing people's homework. Pay attention in class and you should be able to write those programs without difficulty.

As mentioned earlier, we will not do your work for you.
If you do however have further detailed questions that aren't related to us submitting code for you, fee free to ask.

You can find many great topics and tutorials here in the Turing Walkthrough (link provided).

If you know math symbols and the turing syntax you can accompish it. First, you must try and do the code yourself. If it doesn't work post the code here and we will tell what the problem is and then you fix it. Sorry, but that is protocol here. We can't do your homework, but we can answer questions.

There is a Turing section, you know. Plus you could always look through the Turing section for the ONE MILLION PEOPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE ASKED THIS QUESTION!!! (Hyperbole, I have only seen 2-3)

As mentioned earlier, we do not do your homework for you.

BTW, what do you mean by a normal version of turing?

Or maybe the 4.0.3 found in schools...

Your school has a corrupt version that won't compile properly?

It's not corrupt. It works fine, it just doesn't compile. Why you would ever need to compile for school is beyond me anyway. Aren't they supposed to look at the source code? lol
