Stickers | Turning a non-US-keyboard into an US-keyboad | Help wanted

Hi!

I am a swedish student in computer sciense.
I did some googling but with no luck so I post it here.
I just bought a used Mac computer wich is a couple of years old. It has the swedish keyboad layout wich make it unsuitable for programming. Since I have a very tight economy I can't afford bying a new US-keyboad, I hope you understand.
Therefore I wan't help for finding good stickers for turning my swedish mac keybord into a US one ( stickers that does not wear out but if they are resonably priced I bye two sets).

My keyboad is an equivalent to this one but is older (the ordinary big mac keybord).

A tip. Lately I've found out that amazon.co.uk generally is better for browsing rewiews for computerbooks and such since I find those reviews generally to be less positive.

I really would appriciate people giving me tips on different alternatives.

Well there would be a couple of things you can do:

1: you can always look around for a garbage laptop that doesn't work, and replace the keys with both.

2: If you type without looking at your keyboard, just switch the setting for you key board to US-English, and just memorize which keys are what like you would normally do if it was a US keyboard.

3: Check a near-by apple store. They might be able to replace the keys them selves or they might have stickers and or know where you could get some.

4: Ebay.com or Kijiji.ca

You should be able to switch the settings to US keyboard layout, then get keyboard stickers to cover the Swedish letters.

I already know how to use a mac,
that means you don't really have to tell me that I can easily change the keyboard layout and such. I know this.
I also know that I've tried to change the keys on an old keyboard of mine, resulting in a broken keyboard which had to throw away.

I just want an answer to this.

Where can I find good stickers? Anyone?

Check a mac store. If you live in any city that isnt in the moddle on no where, there is a mac / apple store. Thats all I know then. :/
