i'm having trouble with sound on my computer

it was fine yesterday, but when i tuned on the computer today,, the yellow

sound icon beside the date is not on, i tried window trouble shooting,,

but doesn't help.. what do i do!!?

it could be few things:

1. try going to progames, Accessories, Entertainment and then click on velome contoral and see if it is muted (note the loaction of volume contorl is difrent depending on user setings and windows verson, it is ushely in the Accessories some where).

2. your sound card could be damgeged in some way, fallen out of the sloket, or the drivers could be wrong for it.

3. make shure what ever you are using to listen to the sound with (speckers, head phones) is pulged in and fuctioning cortley.

if none of thous help you could call up the tech sport for your mother borad or sound card and see what they have to say. i whould also try to reinstalling the sound drivers.

oooooook i found the problemm

there is no volume control...... hmmmmm this is wierd

no voulme conotrl, odd. may be you unistaled it, try going to add porgams and see if you can install it in the windows progames thing. probly going to need the windows cd tho.

it says...NOT ONE THING INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER!!!!!!

i dont think it could hurt much, but if you dont got drivers installed for your sound cared it will not wrok.

LOL Laughing Brian accedently uninstalled his sound drivers Laughing

but then again... its not soo bad... my other friend uninstalled his videocard drivers once Laughing
