Firefox on Ubuntu problem

I have a problem with fonts. The problem is that some letters are too close. I don't have that problem with other applications. That's really annoying.
I've try changing fonts and font sizes but that doesn't help.
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix it?

Follow such steps for changing the Font your Problem might be solve.

1) Open the ?Terminal? window. Go to ?Daryna? button > System > Terminal.
2) Type this command: ? sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts ? without the quotes
3) Once done, download this and extract all the files in ?/etc/fonts
4) Lastly, turn off the computer then back on. You will see that Firefox font are more Attractive.

You don't have to manually extract the files to /etc/fonts. aptitude does that when you install msttcorefonts. Also, instead of restarting, you just have to update the font cache (I believe).

If installing msttcorefonts doesn't work then try Opera and see if that's better. IMO, Opera's better on Linux anyways.

I installed Opera today for the first time in at least a few years on Linux to fix a UserScript, and the interface was pretty bad-- I suspect that was just because I don't use KDE, so I haven't done any QT configuration though.
