just found out Blizzard is coming to Waterloo on Sept. 16 at 3.30 to 5.00 at Humanities Theatre (HH).

i'm just a first year, do presentations like these happen a lot? i'd really like to attend many of these. |

A terrible and boring one at that. There was no new information. Not to mention that the speaker was a PR lady who was nice but it would have been more interesting if it was a programmer speaking |

She said it's difficult for them to pull programmers, artists, or designers out of the office since they're working on three big games, Battle.net, maintaining WoW, and probably a couple of unannounced titles.
But to be fair, the presentation could have been more informative. At least the speaker was the University Relations MANAGER, not an ambassador or whatnot... if that helps matters.
