|

Course selection begins in half an hour and I'm just wondering if anyone can help me select two non-math electives.
Also does anyone know any good birdcourses (easy courses) to take to get a good grade.
I'm not so keen on taking anything language related. |

There was just a topic on this very thing here: http://compsci.ca/v3/viewtopic.php?p=189837
I would say not to pick course based on how easy they are but on how much you will enjoy them and learn from them. Part of university is about borading your general knowledge, not just in math and computer science so it could benefit you to pick something challenging that you are interested in. |

Take a business class? A big part of CS is project management, and a huge part of project management is managing people. |

I actually did that last night as well. I didn't have any econ 101 registered and I just kept trying to get into his class every hour. Eventually it worked out. Still don't have a physics lab though. |

I don't know about Rahman but personally I think it'd be a shame not to take it with Larry Smith. I graduated last year and still drop in on his lectures. He's basically a cross between the ShamWow guy and an economics professor.

Truly, the term CS means a lot of different things. (Personally I take a Dijkstra-esque perspective.) |

I didn't know it at the time, but REC101 was one of my favourite classes ... back in the day (early 80's).
Along with what Dan said, bird courses are for the birds. Interest is key. Especially when the fees are significant.
