Good games to play onlien with friends?

hi,

its my summer vacation and ive been playing isketch with my friends online for a while and now we're incredibly bored....
does anyone know of any other good games (of any genre)
that we can play online?

Settlers Of Catan is a very fun strategy game to play online with friends.

Also, any Xbox live game.

DotA is good, but takes some practice. Play with other people using Garena. Note: this requires a Warcraft 3 install (patched to version 1.23)

Armagetron is fun. You'll need to either use a public server or set up your own though.

The server's not hard to set up, but one of you will either need to not be behind a firewall, or be able to get a port forwarded.

mabinogi FTW

this is one of the best FTP MMORPG's i have found to play in a long time. It takes about a day of not stop play to get a high enough lv to stop all of the newbie quests, and actually have fun laying waste to monsters with a huge horde of guild members (biggest one I had was with 16 players and we owbed one of the toughest field bosses and jumped 3 lvs each on shared EXP)

if you do decide to download it. add FDme and ecookman on marri server (both are my characters) i will be more than willing to help you out with all of you troubles (yea most people if you ask will be more than willing to help anyway, but i have played for a long time so i know some shortcuts).

Counter Strike, Team Fortress, COD4, COD5 Zombie mode, Left 4 Dead. This is assuming you like shooters though.

I meant it as playing other games is inferior to playing starcraft. Playing games is not an indicator of low life achievement.
