my friend and I were thinking of everyday objects...and giving them a big name. THe best we came up with:

motor boat:a hydrodynamic propulsion device coupled with a floating observatory platform.

anyone have any good ones?

Just because my friend has an 18" laptop;

18" Laptop: Portable Desktop Computation and storage device with attached keyboard and trackpad.

That could be made longer, but whatever.
