You didn't need to post this. Version 4.1.1 and 4.1 are already standalone and "clean" as they come with no installer.

i understand your criticism but i find the version i made simpler because the resources are packaged inside. although you may not derive the same benifits from it i believe others may.

Was there any need to also pack the examples in there? It just adds to the size of the file (witch could be an issue for small usb keys with stuff on them) and the user can't get at them noramly.

thanks, this version actually works, unlike the one downloaded from compsci, no disrespect meant. It still won't let me generate stand alone's though

All the ones on the site should work (as in run, some versions have bugs like the stand alone problem that is holts fault) at least they did for me, however i will add theses standalone ones to the download page if it is ok with daklezardo.

If I make simple programs, Compsci's version works fine. If I need to do include's, I/0 (ex DWITE), or anything with Pic.New it crashes Sad I also can't make working stand alone's no matter what version I use, I get "bad object file header(2)" errors. meh, time for C++

Try deleting your current Turing and reinstalling Turing 4.1
