I downloaded and installed python 2.6 for my mac, but when I click the launcher, it tells me I need to change the interpreter path in 'preferences'. What exactly am I supposed to change this to? I used the default installation, so where is the interpreter? |

Google says use python 2.5, or build python yourself. |

OSX Leopard comes with Python 2.5.1
I hear 2.6 binaries are a mess; you might want to look into building it yourself. |

Right now I'm using 2.5 on Mac and Linux. The newer versions aren't as stable. |

Very well (actually, I forgot I asked this question.). I'll just go on using 2.5. |
