University of Alberta.

About 5 minutes ago. Not exactly it's true speed as this is when everyone does every online thing they need to do before hitting the RAAT (local on campus bar)(yes, a lot DO actually go there on monday too). It would be better if taken in about 2 hours, but I wont be here then. Maybe I'll grab it early morning tomorrow...

I'd post mine... but there is no point. I'm limited to a 100mb connection and even maxing it out it's still slow. If only the college would upgrade to a gigabit lan...

School? What's that?

Oh yeah, I forgot; that weird place where we lurn howta spel.

When I was in school, my modem was 110 baud. Yep, nearly equivalent to 0.010 kB/s on a good day. A huge 10 characters per second. Couldn't keep up. When I got to Waterloo it was doubled to 300 baud, and that was like livin' in the fast lane.

Enjoy the future of compsci, ladies and gentlemen, it's usually better than the past.

Cheers
andrew.

That sucks btiffin. Well, at least compared to now. The slowest I remember is dial-up which downloaded at about 2-4 kB/s.
