Hi,
I am a new member in this forum. I read few topics posted here and found very useful.
I have applied for permanent residentship in Canada which I hope to get by the end of this year. After having the PR card I want to persue higher education in Canada. I am having Bachelor's of Engg degree (Electrical) from india (Jadavpur University,Calcutta).
My queries are:
1. How do i apply for M.Engg (course based) ? What are the requirements?
2.Please let me know the Universities which offer M.Engg in CSC field?
3. I had Electrical Egg in my bachelors, however I am working in IT/Softwrae field for more tahn 3 years. Can I directly apply for Computer Sc as my specialization in Masters?
4. What are the general course starting time(Summer, fall? ) in Canadian Universities?
Thanks,
Deb |

I think I can answer #4,
Most courses start in september (semester 1) or January (semester 2) |

#1: Requirements are dependent on the schools, search for their Meng programs and look for requirements. (For CS MSc its generally a B+ avg or higher)
#3:
Most MSc Comp Sci programs will let you apply even if you haven't received your undergrad in that area. They may want you to take a couple extra courses if they think you are weak in certain areas but if you have the marks and find someone willing to supervise you then you should be okay. |
