Python sure is seeing some action lately, its nice to see... now only if there was a perl forum for ME to specialize in ... lol

Maybe ill take a look at that blog and take up python for myself. it seems like a quick language to pick up.

Hehe. Another convert! One of my coder friends has been learning python over the summer, and he keeps ranting on how awesome it is. Keep in mind he's a crusty old unix sysadmin type... he knows perl, C, C++ quite well, and just loves Python now.

Learn Python. The more languages you know, the better. But, I predict that apomb will end up preferring Ruby. Easier regular expressions and flexibility count for a lot.

I decided to give Python a try and in 20 minutes I managed to code a webserver, cook breakfest, save the girl, save the world, all without resorting to Perl!
