I need help with ai

Im making a zelda game for my class. I have everything done exept for the enemy ai
and i have no idea what to do. I am using visual basic

Research path finding algorithms, since IIRC the enemies in Zelda just follow + attack you.

thanks i got the enemys to walk around but i dont know how to destroy them when I attack them?

You can read the instruction to destroy the enimies.
