Hooray for Adobe. Stepping it up to compete with Microsoft. Hope they win.

I hate Adobe, can I read a PDF without having to update for an hour, then have it start up when I reboot because it really wants to update. No option to turn it off either.

I have no problem with Adobe, however I believe that Microsoft will somewhat prevail over this matter, due to them being one powerhouse against a weaker competitor.
However, time will tell.

Seriously, it doesnt update that much, and is there honestly something wrong with having a program that does update? At least you know it's working.

The problem is that it has a bulky updater, I never see any change, except it makes the reader even more bloated. I don't know about you but, I'd rather read a PDF instead of updating every 5 min.

I'll definately agree with you on the bulky updater. But I don't read too many PDFs. I do however really like firefox's integration of PDFs for online, works great.
