Hey,

I wanted to figure out how to make my own select screen entirely myself. I've used something from zweifuss.com or something, which is a street fighter III select screen. It looks like this;

http://www.newwavemugen.com/~zweifuss/

I am trying to figure out how to make the selector run over my character select screen.I understand how directories work, but I haven't enclosed the selector. Instead its right here;

Also, the three mini portraits should light up, which I have enclosed. I understand this has something to do with layering? I'm sorry I only have a brief understanding of HTML as I managed to make this;

But as you can tell, I want to make my own layout for another project. I sincerely need your help, so any advice would be appreciated.

Have a look at the http://www.newwavemugen.com/~zweifuss/ source code, and you'll see they used <A> tag which is quite clever... and maybe lazy, so instead of using MAP, theres an easier way, plus it have onmouseover function, which triggers the selector.gif
in your case, is easier because you dont have to do oval (finding radius etc) just simply use coords="left,top,right,bottom"
hope that helps Smile

I see. So your saying I should just have a mouse-over trigger which starts the whole .gif of the selector over the character? Plus Karma for you, but I won't get the chance to apply this until thursday night/friday. Thanks, and I'll report back then Very Happy

Also, more +karma for not flipping out on me Wink
