well I have created a name for my line of game's that I make in anytime in the future... MAD gaming (hence MAD Psychics)

anyway I've started working on a game where the main character (you) has telekanetic abilities (ex. move things, create static electricity)

It's in the early stages at the moment but I will keep posting new versions in this thread

the controls for the time being are just the left,middle, and right mouse buttons

left - clench hands (future versions will make this pick up objects and hold electricity)
right - move hands (switch between moving objects and generating electricity)
middle - quit game (for the time being)

Any suggestions or comments appreciated

EDIT: made charging electricity possible

notes about electricity:
only charging when hand in and open
if hand in and closed electricity power will stay the same but not charge
if hand straight then electricity power will be erased

HUGE IMPROVEMENT!

ok you can now walk with the w,a,s,d keys (although w and s do nothing at the moment)

also you can pick up objects now (WHOOO!) by clicking on them when your hands are straight

also the electricity is now working (except for shooting it Sad )

I also now have a Background

Future Updates:
w and s keys will walk
shooting electricity
throwing objects
fixing the background glitch (occured when walking in the other direction at the point the background repeats)
enemies

Um MAD gaming might allready be around seeing as there is MAD everything else...

also when i try to play your game i get an error message saying "bad object (2)"

hmm I don't think Turing 4.1.1 compiles programs correcty... I will reinstall my 4.0.3 then recompile in the meantime just use the source thats in there

ya, I believe it doesn't compile properly too, I had the same error when trying to compile my GUI Alternative program a short while ago. That's why I have both versions on my comp.

You think they would of tested AT LEAST the compiling before they distributed it...

I'm not sure which was the last version I uploaded but this one you can pick up objects (brick and barrel), charge electricity (I fixed the pictures), and walk around with 'a' and 'd'

it seems as though the objects move the wrong way when you turn... id assume the objects would not move opposite to the direction of the ground? other wise... good start.

You need to change the direction of the objects being moved... When you turn in real life, the objects are not sliding around in the same direction are your view.

If you turn left, background and objects go right. If you turn right, background and objects go left.

I'm not really seeing any mad physics in this game though, if any.. Sorry Razz

the name isnt physics, its psychics ... like telekinesis. but the point stil stands that the objects move in the wrong direction in relation to the movement of the character.

Good work! I love it, there are some clear issues, but you do have a knack for making games, I feel like I actually have power when I'm playing.
