Hi just wondering if XP is good with dual core. My laptop came with Vista (I know that doesn't surprise anyone) and I want to go back to XP as long as I still get to utilize my 2GB of ram and dual core. |

I'm running XP with a dual core processor and 2 GB RAM with no issues (Typical Windows problems aside). |

Does XP see all 2GB? And is the duo core being utilized by XP?
(those are my primary concerns... I know that XP will run on my hardware, I just want to know how well)
p.s. I heard a year or two ago that XP can't see past 1GB. Has this changed in recent updates? |

i think XP could allways see 2GB and more. My PC has 2GB ram and dule core cpu and runs xp media center. It uses both of them fine. |

It can't quite handle 4 GB RAM, but anything lower it's fine with. |
