(Instructions found on the site)
This game is a student project that aims to show how 7 million people connect and become the game with the most number of players ever. It's about finding new ways of communicating an idea and crossing the boundary between the internet and the real world.

When the game reaches 7 million players the player who has survived with the highest score will win $5000, and the top ten $500 each. A prize will also be given to the best photograph of an invitation.

Is there something else? Maybe. And if you can survive until Level 2 without losing the game, maybe you will find out ...

The point is to spread to word and get to 7mill to play idiot Rolling Eyes ... Forums are by far one of the most effective ways of doing that

You're also not supposed to spam links either Wink Just posting a link to get people to sign up under you isn't cool.

Oh shit someone asked for it. FYI Thats not what he meant about your link being posted. Its just not creative. I don't know what that had to do with insulting the game. I'm not joining it, doesn't seem worth it.

Hey, call me an idiot some more. That sounds like an incredible idea.

You're right, though. The point is to spread the word and get people playing. In that case, a simple link to lost.eu and an explanation would suffice. Instead, you used a referral link which gets you points. This shows that your point isn't speading the word, it's getting points.

And you know, I'm not altogether against that. But if you look at that photographs of things people did to get points, you'll notice that they actually put a little effort into it. Much more interesting than putting up a link and asking people to click.

As for effectiveness many people look at links, see the referral and refuse to click on it.

Doesn't matter anyways since that link went bye bye.
