This game looks amazing. It is a space fighting game that utilizes procedural generation to create a massive galaxy with billions of planets. It's called Infinity. I've been following it for a while and it seems to be coming along very well.

Awesome indeed. We had a post about it before -- here. Though that was just one video on YouTube. There's a lot more media here. Very cool.

OMG have you senn the requirements for this! i'm sorry but i'll need 5 of my comps to get this thing ever RUNNING! looks kewl. hey, has anyone ever played Starflight before for the sega genesis? It looks kinda like this. You fly around in space, kill stuff, contact with other races, and destroy the crystal planet tahts making every star in the universe explode, eliminating all life and materials on the surrounding planets. it's a fun game, I still play it (OLd SkOoL).

Minimum system requirements

These minimum requirements are only estimated and will probably change to something
more accurate as the development progresses.

* CPU speed: Intel Pentium IV 2 Ghz or AMD Athlon 1500+ or equivalent
* RAM size: 512 MB
* Video card: a graphics card supporting pixel shader 2.0 (ATI Radeon 9500+, NVidia Geforce FX+)
* Disk space: at least 2 GB
* Internet connection: 56k modem
* Operating system: Windows 2000 or later

Thats not bad for requirements. Is this a one man development team because in the FAQ he refers to himself a lot.

Yeah, the requirements are realy high (looks like I'll be playing this on my dad's computer Smile ). You should try the prototype. I've never tried it because my computer is too slow but from what I've heard it should be fun.

By the way. It is the one person coding but he has other people doing modelling, story, music etc.

Well I'm glad my comp has most of the system requirements. Now if I have an onboad GeForce video card do you think that will still be compatible for this game?

My system stats:

CPU speed: Pentium D (2.8GHz x 2)
RAM: 4GB
Hrad drive: 500GB
Video card: 256MB integrated GeForce
Sound card: 7.1 surround
Internet: 56kb/s modem
OS: Windows XP Professional w/ Media Center

My computer is fairly new so it should be fine. And has anyone seen all the vids of this game?

I feel sorry for you SilentAvenger. Dial up.
But the rest of your comp is nothing short of amazing. (well, the 256mb Vid Card could use an upgrade, like mine)

@ War_Caymore - It came with it.
