I'm studying at UW. 6 full courses of awesomeness. Got to love co-op and Spring terms.
Latest from compsci.ca/blog: Tony's programming blog. DWITE - a programming contest.

It's apparently a really cool hike. You start around 6pm, climb until around 11, then stop and sleep at a rest house along the way for a few hours before making it to the apex for the sunrise. They give you a walking stick at the base, and on the way up it gets branded at each of the stops.

Yeah. The professor I'm working under was my soccer coach from a few years back. Wink

Ha, the hook ups! Perhaps this will sway you a little to expand your horizons beyond those of CompSci. Not to say that CompSci is limiting, but Bio can be so very colourful...and I'm sure you'd find bioinformatics quite fun.
I myself have been on Summer "Vacation" for 2 months or so now, working in the MAC Psych labs, under one of the CogSci/Psycholinguistics profs.
Strangely enough, my background in CompSci has been invaluable to me, as I've had to learn MatLab, Visual Basic, and a neurobehavioural programming language on the fly...fun times! But still no Ruby Sad .
