It would also be helpful for some people for us to program their final projects for them... Though you are most likely not being marked on this, it's still the same concept. You have to learn what is neccessary and do it on your own. We are here to provide help for any specific questions you have and help you with the general layout of your programs, not to code for you.
new is something you will learn about once you finally decide to learn flexible arrays. upper() is something you should know about if you fully understand normal arrays in Turing. I'm almost positive that you will find it in one of the many array tutorials we have here.

well if you had read the flexy array tut in the [Turing Tutorials] section (or better yet the Turing Walkthrough), you would know what the new command does...

As for the rest of your post, the point I made in my previous post remains. What are you having trouble with? We simply will not write another tutorial just for you, though we will help you understand the current one.
