I had this problem once. When I turned on the computer it just sat there for 10-15 mins without POSTing. It turned out to be a defective cmos battery. Apparently it sat there for 10-15 minutes charging up then when it had enough juice it would start like normal but lost its charge after every shut down. You could try a new battery to see if that helps. |
