I know it has been a while since the demo had been released but has anyone played this game yet?
I used to play BF1942 DC MOD and it was awsome... since BF 2 is suppose to be like the DC MOD it should rock also.
Im currently downloading it (exams over! i can do w/e i want...)

No, haven't tried it yet, but I might sometime soon. Those are some pretty high requirements, the graphics are only good from what I've seen.

The reason I hate DC (desert combat mod for those of you who don't know) is that everyone plays it, and then totally ignores BF1942. I don't know, I liked the mod too, but I really hate it when all the credit of a "good" game goes to a mod or expansion.

I used to play BF1942 for a long time- then i got Road To Rome and a few months after i got found/dled the DC MOD and got hooked onto playing that.
When I joined clans they used to only play on the origional so yeah, BF1942 is still kick ass and DC just makes it better its just FUN... for me mainly the flying, IM AMAZIGN... indeed.

Accually the company flew a guy I know down to California I think it was to test out Battlefield 2 and he said it was amazing.

I downloaded the demo tho- the installer isn't working... weird it appares corrupt.

Probably a bad download, download from another mirror and compare it with a checksum if they give one.

For some odd reason, when i start it up- it goes into full screen and then comes out of it and crashes...any idea why?
