Someone mentioned that I should start a BitTorrent tracker if I thought that I could be able to keep it legal and running. Well, I decided to give it a go. The forums are pretty desolate and not worked on as much yet, but the tracker is up and the main page is working.
I'll add different categories to the forum and stuff too. So If the site becomes popular, and forums become populated, I'll surely upgrade hosting account to a better provider.
The basic concept of this is pointing torrents and uploading to tracker. And then the person making a thread in the forums in the proper category about that certain file (with a link to the stats page so that you can see hte torrent stats. ie: Peers, Seeders, etc), so that people can comment and talk about it in that thread. It makes searching for torrents a while lot easier too.
Okay. I got a small tracker going. If you make torrents, make sure to point them to my tracker and then upload them at my site. We'll see how far this gets. If it becomes successful, I'll get a bigger hosting package.

Omfg, cool. I didn't know this worked so awsomely. All you have to do is go to the "Upload a file" page. It'll ask you what file you want to make a torrent of, then you just chose the file from the little pop-up box, and it'll auto-make a torrent of it and make it available for download. How sick is that?
You don't even have to know how to make torrents to share! |

Well, I can't say much about this (as I am not entirely certain myself) However, I am of he significant impression that bittorrent has some viruses packed in with it. I'll post again when I can get you the website. |

Ah! Here it is...http://www.spywareinfo.com/articles/p2p/ You might want to have a look at this page because a lot of file sharing programs have viruses packed in with thier installation.
Hope this helps! [/url] |

Just so you know this topic is over a year old, and Notorage is no longer an active member so your post has fallen on deaf ears im afraid, make sure you look at the last post date before hitting the "post reply" button next time |

Perhaps you should check out Azureus. If you believe that has spyware in it, then I truly feel sorry for you. |
