i see.
i wonder if there are any really good games with gandalf in it. virtually every LOTR game sucked. the third tower game was mediocre.

Anarchy Online has "magic" too, but its actualy nano bots, which operate on either you, your team mate or your opponent's NCU (nano control unit), you can upload nanoprograms of all sorts, depending on you're profession, some are store buyable, all those above QL 125 is not though. You need to buy NCU memory (the higher your computer literacy is the higher QL memories you can use) to increase your NCU, which allows you to have more buffs running. Did I mention its free?

the basic game is free, expansions: shadowlands(huge new world), notum wars (allows your organization to build towers, cities and war with other orgs), and alien invasion (alien xp, perks etc). Normal game doesn't come with perks actually, but its still good. I'm level 140 (non expansion max being 200), its pretty complex though, you should read up on implants, clusters which go in implants, the profession you're choosing, and where to put ur IP for your profession (just so you don't gimp yourself, although it took me around 3 characters to finally get the hang of it.) computer literacy is important, NCU is important too, especially at low levels.

I hope you meant to say "absolutely every" instead of "virtually every"... how can good games be made from movies?

Many, if not most MMORPG/RPG's are based on a LOTR type world, so its perfect for examples.

Anarchy online seemed like a fairly good game, but the environment didn't seem too... interesting.

Any other good free MMORPG type games you know of?

I searched Dragon RO... didnt know it was the same as ragnarok.
