Alright... more then half the semester is over (i think..) and i still haven't figured it out.

How one earth to get pass the school site restrictions??
Nothing works! even animesuki is blocked Neutral

Some guys said there is a site that you can use to get pass it but I have no idea what it is... or any other method to get around it... anyone know?

Thanks..

I almost got suspended for that, my friend. I strongly discourage trying to bypass the school board's proxy if you have a half-decent admin. They might not be so lenient at your school.

ok this mite not work on ur school system, cuz it only works on mine sometimes. what i did was i'd log in, then unplug then lan cable, which allows me to log into a weird account wit access to c drive and control panel, then u plug the cable back in and dl firefox, install it then install that plugin that lets u use different proxies and try to browse the internet that way

In my school, trying to get past the restrictions is encouraged if you do a white-hat... the sysadmin will give you food! Laughing

Well the easy way whould be to run your web page request throw a page that uses a proxy, for example traslting it on balefish will probly make it load. Just pick a english web site and transalte it to english.

**removed way into gmail.. i dont want NOOBs to use INTERNET explorer in Algoma District schoolboard!!!!! if you already know how.. USE FIREFOX to access GMAIL .. . . dont tell noobs that will use IE, as ADSB will block it if they find it in your internet explorer cache!!!! *they cant view firefoxs cache as easily.... too many ppl here from ADSB that are noobs....

(Lapsus Antepedis) dam you! lucky Razz.... yea the unpluging the lan cable (gets into LOCAL user account, which often is not blocked like NETWORK users... . is the best to get around novel! i used that at a lan party to get around on a borowed PC so i could install CS 1.6... .. . Wink glad otheres knew that too Very Happy.. .

Try mine: 65.165.84.11:80 , I use it all the time.
Update: It took me an hour and a half to find this little gem. But it runs uber fast; incidentally, it's the one with the virus-scanning filter I was talking about in another thread Wink
Update2: It's anonymous too. Smile

Dodge, it's not always worth the hassle of installing Firefox every time you use the computer. As would be the case in many school situations.

Proxy options can me set on serveral difrent levels, the easyest whould be in the browers you are using. I blive in IE they are in the conection options but i have not used IE in some time.
