Hey, I was looking at GameDev.net, that Coutsos reccomended me to, here were the qualifications at one of the job offerings:
Quote: Qualifications:
- Must have attention to detail and a love for adding new features as well as making subtle tweaks
- Strong experience with C programming language
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Strong background in 3d mathematics
- Prior game play programming experience
- MS/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics field preferred
Now obviously I'm still in grade 12, so I don't really have the last two (not saying I'm going to apply for this job), but for the 3D mathematics part, where do I go to learn 3D mathematics, that would be used in Game Making? |

I'd first hit their articles section. They've got loads of stuff there, after that you might want to get a book (there's a books section as well!). |

3d math is something that you'd probably learn in university math courses.
If you want to learn on your own, start by learning about vectors, matricies and quaternions on http://www.mathworld.com/
Or you could pick up a few math textbooks that cover these topics. |

Yeah, 3D Math is usually learned in University.
If you have a Ti-89 Titanium, you can graph 3D math equations 8) . |

Emulators are fine, although roms are not, but I remember Texas Instruments distributing the rom for the Ti89 for free... |

The URL has to be from a website. For example, look up some images on google and take the URL from there. But if you're going to post something like that, go in Off Topic aka spam, located at the bottom. |
