Alright, today in 'Oh-man!'s Physics class, we learned about Images in Concave Mirrors.

Now, the way she taught it has left me with a few doubts. She never measured angles and she always made the images work.

In the interests of scientific inquiry, I have created a Geometers Sketchpad document to test this lesson. My results have just confused me further. Perhaps one more advanced in physics and computing (martin?) could help to clarify this issue?

Images? to locate the image, draw some of the 4 easiest lines that you can draw.
1. A ray passing through the focus will reflect parallel to the axis of symmetry.
2. A ray travelling parallel to the axis of symmetry will reflect through the focus.
3. A ray hitting the vertex will bounce off according to the laws of reflection, angle of incidence = angle of reflection.
4. A ray travelling through the center of curvature (2F) will bounce back through the center of curvature.

Is that what you're looking for? Sorry I'm not exactly sure as to what you're asking since I don't have the program at home.

if u just put an object and a concave mirror, you'll see how the object is formed by drawing these lines.

Those are somethings I remember from that unit.
