I worked on this game for my grade 9 isp for TIK20.
It took me 2 weeks and here it is.......

All levels are beatable, even level 5, just takes time.
If you really tired of doing everything all over to get a level, the cheat code is:

unlockme

Read the instructions carefully and you will do well.
Thats all I can say....

Have fun !!!!

I must say, that is quite impressive. But as for your 'no errors'...not quite.
Try to improve it by making the dots objects instead of just pics...that way you can delete the entire dot instead of just part of it.
Also, it crashes with the 'special-Turing-killing-input-that-kills-Turing'.

+ bits.

i like the way he did it, because this way you dont get lazy, and it forces you to go over the entire dot! Razz Laughing

btw

im confused..is it spider who has a 50% chance of eating you, or his friends??? because i think the instructions for level 4 and 5 differ

What did you mean by

????????

I like the dots half erased and i will not change it. All the errors you found will not crash the program and i dont find them as "problems".

Thanks for you comments anyway.
I changed the version above very very little (cheat page - no more "see attached txt file", I did not mention about the 50 percent, and some other minor instruction fixes)

Not too bad - and I did find it pretty challenging, took me 3 tries to do lvl 5. Actually, this is really good considering you did it in grade 9 compsci (my school starts in grade 10) Good Job!

That's pretty cool... It took me a few tries, but I actualy found level 4 harder than 5, just becasue in 5 you have the extra spider to help you out... took me 4 tries to beat level 5, but nly because I messed up stupidly on the third.

Ya, I agree with illu45 - lvl 4 was IMO a bit harder than lvl 5. Maybe you should try evening it out, adding a few levels and release a new version Smile.

Level 4 is harder????????????????
I usually find myself in a situation that there is no way out in level 5....

Level 5 might be faster to complete if you make all your moves right but you should have a much smaller chance of getting stuck in the corners in level 4.

Thanks for the comments so far Very Happy

Once you find the 'trick' of the ai then its all east.

If you go near the enemy he starts following your direct path, but since you're ahead you can just go around.

Anyway, good work - maybe for harder levels try experimenting with more ai.

You are right. You just need to know where to go and where not to go... That's it !!!
