iv noticed that some people (not from this site) has trouble understanding the differences and the significances of "Graphics" "Buttons" and "Movie Clips"

movie clip: has is on its own timeline seperate to the main timeline

button : can have a movie clip in its up position and has is on its own timeline seperate to the main timeline

graphics : these r bound to the main timeline

the following r examples of each notice that if u press enter only the shape will chage colors but if u press ctrl+enter then...

Also keep in mind that 'button' and 'graphic' objects are just 'movieclips' with built in actions.

it adds for greater flexibility later on. movieclips all the way ^_^
