I tried that top link and I got a script error, so I'll try again later... maybe it doesn't support firefox?? I dunno but thanx!

I was thinking of resurrecting this game and re-writing it in visual basic because I know it best, and my ultimate goal would to actually get this online but of course i'll upgrade it quite a bit. What do you guys thinK? I know it's buggy because of the language and my not knowign how to use it well (I wrote that after a 5 mo course in turing) But VB will be way better... anyone be interested? Should I do it? Is it worth it? What do you guys think?

When I tried this I am pretty sure it didn't work, some error... I'll double check on my other comp though.

I would love to see this game though (after playing it on linux for a bit).

Very cool, I can see alot of effort. I didn't play through the entire games though, but it would be nice if you were to polish it more, or to include more error trapping. I liked the "Real Time Turnbased" idea, I think it's pretty cool.

It gets stuck at this line for me:
Pic.Draw (StatusBG, 0, 0, picMerge)

I don't really feel like looking into the problem atm... Maybe you could offer something?

When he declared Location, it had the value of "M:\\SpaceConquest" That was the problem with all the picture not declared problems. If you would go and search and replace everyone of the "M:\\SpaceConquest" to your own directory, whatever it might be, you will be able to play it.

Sorry about that guys... I have a line in there that says var Location := "M:\\SpaceConquest\\" so if you change that it should be ok.

So do you guys think I should resurrect this in VB. Which would give you a major polish up, an since i'm in the midst of learning .php I could post it online (although that language seems like a royal pain in the ass)?
