Is it possible to apply a mod to a demo version of a game? Specifically, I'm interested in modding my Halo: Combat Evolved demo version.

Thanks in advance,

Of course.

I doubt they'll release a demo modkit for it though, so you'll probably have to do everything the hard way.

Halo PC has a custom version called HaloCE that lets you play custom maps.

It also has a kit called the Halo Editing Kit (HEK) for creating new content. Here's a HEK FAQ.

There's also lots of tools that'll let you modify the original game itself and even some new maps on Halo Mods.

Not sure if you could do much with the demo version though.
