I have an ASUS X800 XT addition, with Video IN/Video OUT capablities, i was wondering if anyone knows how or if i can use this to play my gamecube or xbox though that onto my monitor. I have an adaptor that gives me a port for the yello cable from the gamecube, and a audio in port from on my sound card.

Are u able to get the video on the screen throw the yellow video input? If so then u just need to patach in the aduio in to the sound card's line in. This will be harder if u do not have the right conectors. For my viedo card, it came with a conector that toke in the right and left AV inputs and convetered them to the standered input for a sound card.

I'm not positive on what to do, but try hooking up the RCA video out from your Gamecube/Xbox/VCR whatever to the computer, then going to the desktop, right clicking, going to 'Properties', then to the 'Settings' tab, and then clicking the 'Advanced' button.

See if you can find anything about the Video-In in there. (That's how you set up TV-out, so maybe that's how you set up Video-In too.)

Just a suggestion, I've never actually done it. There's always Google.

Ushely the video in card comes with some software to display the t.v. or w/e in to it and if it does not there is some that comes with windows that kind of works (if u can say that any M$ works that is).
