Time to generate some talk, I know a few of you fellows must be going off to university next year. Whered you apply to and for what.

I applied to Mcmaster, Waterloo, Western for civil engineer.

Have another month of my hard semester to go, then it will be smooth sailing through rest of high school. Smile

Quote:
All of our offers of admission and scholarships will be made no later than June 3, 2005, and you will have until June 13, 2005, to respond.

They give you conditional offers of acceptance that basically state that your average can't go below the line that they set for the specific program.

In actuality, as long as you do reasonably well, they'll honour your conditional acceptance. For example, if the required average for some program was 85, and you get conditional acceptance, but your final average is only 80, chances are you'll still be okay.

well tahts always nice to know, thx
won't really matter cause all my required courses except for calculus are this semeseter. so ill only have calculus and an extra (or if worse comes to worse i have an 83 U course kicking around)

Just didnt know with that whole "You must reply by June 13th thing" if you still had to reply on a conditional.

Anyone going into computer science at waterloo (or possibly others), if you like math, check out Combinatorics & Optimization. I found that Computer Science was a little bit too light on the math, so I switched into that.

Anyway, here's the link: http://www.math.uwaterloo.ca/CandO_Dept/index.shtml

The whole of math.uwaterloo.ca appears to be down. It should come back up soon.

I'm preaty sure that they require you to be of a good character.. sorry Naughty

anyways, as you guys probably know, I'm in Mechatronics
