although I will probably watch it, the show is garbage:

last year they gave the best game award to madden nfl 2004

A sports game should not win best game, in my opinion.

What is up with those stupid madden games anyways? Why does it constantly, year after year get good reviews but essentially its the same game, with maybe improved graphics and some extra stupid end zone dances. How do people keep playing it and never get board? The only football game I liked was nfl blitz on the N64.

Madden 2004 is a great game. People keep playing sports gfames, because they actuallylike sports or play that sport. We cant all be dragonslayers or w/e game u play.

True, many people love sports video games, we can't all be the same can we? I personally prefer the hockey or basketball games in the sports category. Anyone play NBA live 2k5 yet?

I play sports and sports games too. But I dont go out and buy NHL 2003 then NHL 2004 then NHL 2005, year after year. I may get it one year then wait a few years before getting it agian. Thats what Im trying to say not that sprots games are bad.

People, while all those other games are fine and dandy. I must say, I own all of the nominees for "Best Game of the Year", and from what I gather, Half-Life2 piz0wnz t3h 3v3r13thin9! Shocked

Shame you couldn't pick Doom3 for Best Game, that would have been a tough choice to make.
