Could someone please tell me why that when i uploaded my avatar, no image is showing for me?  |

because you got teh link wrong 
maybe the problem is in the extension. if its .JPG then you cant link to .jpg |

why would it matter if its a jpeg?
your problem is that you (I am guessing by the src for the image) thought that you could upload your image to compsci's servers, you need to upload them to a free webhosting site, and then enter the link to that image.

you need to have it on something actually online such as a direct link from the site you got it from or upload it to a webhost. |

yep, thats right. we are wroking on a way for poleop to upload there pics to the servers but as of now you got to find one the is online.
P.S. may be if your pic is not to big and you ask me or tony we will upload it to the compsci.ca server  |
