Hey my programming teacher just told me of a program called Anark and when i went to the site the Graphics looked great can an one tell me where to download it FREE?

What the hell made you think that had anything to do with General Programming? Please don't spam this section, it's one of the last "clean" places left.

Also, to download it free? It's on the damned website.

Anark is an amazing idea, but it has some problems.

1. The client is too big, weighing in at about 2mb the last time I checked. Flash, in comparison, is about 500kb. Now, I realize that for most of us, that is a non-issue, however there are still people with 56k out there.

2. Programming in it is much more difficult than flash. Any idiot can do flash, but 3d graphics are another deal. Now, Anark does actually do a good job of making this as easy as possible, but that doesn't mean it is easy.

3. Compatability. This works on IE, Safari and Netscape. Once they get it on a few more clients (such as...say...firefox!) then it'll start to get more widespread use.
