Dan and I were talking about this today. A large number of h omosexual references are censored. Do you agree with this? Vote and post your opinions. |

Move this to Spam man.
Keep the GD strickly comp related <- voted.
Since 'Lesbian' isn't censored, i guess homosexual can be uncensored too.
But if possiable try and use AI and if the post is flaming someone, censor it |

homo. I think references like this should be uncensored when "gay" is used purely to refer to h omosexuals. (like thats ever going to happen) "I don't like apples, apples are gay" (or happiness) |

What if I say: "Somebody is a very gay fellow. Although, there's something particularly qûeer about him that I just can't put my finger on." In reference to the fact that he's a very happy 'n easy-going fellow. But there's something strange about him?
It's all about context. Even the word "balls" can be offensive. It's just a matter of how it's used. |

I fail to see why ppl would be taking about h omosexuals on a computer science forum. Unlless a new fourm was made for political debates/discucssions, but that still has nothing to do with Compsci. |

I used to have a manager that was most definitely a homersexual. Then he was "forced to quit" and now we have another supposed homersexual manager. We also had a homersexual coworker that quit recently. And a fat guy too. Heh.
Er, anyways. I think that if somebody is going to use the word h-omosexual, they won't be using it offensively. You know? If somebody on a message board wants to imply that somebody else has strong feelings towards the same sex they'll say something like "omfg, you fucking geek. why can't u give me an answer, ur fucking gay"
They'll say that because they are themselves, quite gay. Fuckin' lamers. |

guys - PM your little hissy fits please. I don't know nor care what thread this started with but end it. It's annoying.
Filter - YES keep the filter. I know there are problems with it but it helps send the message that we want to keep the content clean. |
