Very cool, when gordon was loading, he looked sooo real! The woman was less so, but still, the sweat... the clothing details... wow

I'm not sure if mine can support it. I might need more RAM inorder to run it.

In the spirit of Half-Life2, I decided to make a KEY-GEN!.
NOTE: If you want the source-code to it, just PM me. I'd like for you to run it before you go about scanning it's code. Otherwise that'd ruin the fun.
Edit: Whatever, I put it in the Turing Sourcecode section.

I am not likely to dwnld something forom some 1 new to the site, who says he will only give me the source to the program after I run it, and who puts a little mischevious devil next to the sentance.

RTFE(dit), I put the code in the "Turing Sourcecode" section.

I was playing the beta today. The water looks amazing...the screenshots just don't do it justice.
Now, the beta is missing AI, a lot of textures, and crashes when trying to load most levels. Nontheless, it is still...drool...
Glass shattering is cool, it doesn't just break. Looks realistic, but the texture sucks. Also, barrels deform as you smack them around, it's pretty sick.
Plus in the beta, some of the levels your body gets left behind when you move. Gordon looks pretty much the same. Minus his head...that gets taken with you, apparently it's important.

I downloaded the CS:Source final today.
Here's the scoop: all of the levels are from the original CS. I think that they did this because they didn't want to have to worry about unbalanced levels, and I imagine that new levels are en route.
I can play it at high graphics, albet a framerate sticking around 10fps. I did this so I could see the capabilities of the engine.
Now, the game feels finished. It is playable, amazing water effects, and the physics engine is alright. I say alright because there are still some fairly obvious clipping errors. I imagine these will get fixed though. What I don't like, however, are the textures. At full graphics, a lot of the textures are very low resolution, and look quite out of place. If this is a stripped down version that I have, that could explain it. Also, the glass shattering is the same as from the Half-Life 2 beta.
The thing that ruined counter-strike for me though was the community. Counter-strike players are, in general, annoying and not very nice. If you are new to the game, you get insulted openly by both your opponants and your team. I think that CS has the worst community of any online game that I have played, and a large number of people agree with me (my alter-ego, for example).
DOD:Source is going to be awesome, I think. Hope. The whole game is going to rock. It better, at least. I've got some money set aside to buy the silver edition, and I haven't bought a computer game in a long time...
