is it possible for them to bann every email service?

anything is posable, but it whould not be pheasable to ban them all. epslatly with smaller e-mail sites like us that give out e-mails.

It is posable to block all pop3 e-mail tho (non-webbased).

If you're home computer is able to receive incoming connections (ie. not behind a firewall, or a router, although you can make it work behind a router, if you need to, i'll explain.) and you don't have dialup, then you can use the circumventor program, which gets around almost all blocking software.

http://www.peacefire.org/circumventor/simple-circumventor-instructions.html

It kinda makes you're computer (at home) act like a proxy for the ones at school. It gives you a url that you can go to from school that will allow you unrestricted access to the web.

Or, if all you're using your email at school for is to send files and such back and forth, try setting up an FTP.

Uhsley if the schools secuity is set up right u can not chage or set a proxy and there proxy should be forced on the computers. Tho many schools mess this up so u never know.

There are ways to circumvent the wrdsb firewall, and i suppose others as well. My advice is to not do it though, because they could be monitoring your computer at random and catch you no matter what you do, and it would really not be worth the effort.

All I do is set-up my home-box as a Remote Desktop server. Done.
