Any image that is like an ad and is hosted of my comp shows up as a broken image when i try it view it with firefox or any other browser... THIS happned only when zonealarm was installed.. Anyone know how to fix this?? If i unisntall zonealarm it works fine but if i install it.. IT gets screwed up... |

Could you be more specific about the image being "like an ad"? The filename or the dimensions or something? You could try checking the zonealarm website for an faq or message board, I suppose. |

the zone alarm has this "feature" to disable ads. It ether blocks the image all together, or replaces it with "ad was here" image of its own.
you just got to blowse around zonealarm's settings and turn it off. |

Actually, come to think of it.. even screenshots are showing up as broken images.. and i turned off the ad thing (even turned off the firewall...).

I turned it off to check if that's what causing the problem.. but it isn't, something else in zonealarm is.... ...... also, ummm I used to use zonealarm before, didn't give me such trouble before.. now.. it is -.- 5... |

Here's how you fix zone alarm: uninstall it. Works like a charm. Same thing goes for windows too. Pretty nifty, eh? Kerio is a much better firewall, and a router is also a pretty nice firewall. |
