it's got request features and etc. Tho it is kinda anoying the version that I had was very buggy :S (You need to buy it....)

Use winamp. http://www.winamp.com/

Ogg offers better compression over mp3, so you will get better quality using the ogg line. I'm hosting tonight, starting between 5 and 6.

And as far as what kind of music, listen in and see if you like it. Mostly light rock, with the occasional (against my will) rap song. We take requests, so I'll start an IRC channel for requests later tonight (or just post on here).
