Copy and paste the following code into a blank website to see the effects. Maybe Dan or Tony can make a url with this code and link it.(I forgot the password to my webspace.)

Anyways the code for making moving text can be rather simple there is a built in tag in HTML called marquee that will do it for you. Replace the <h2> tags to change the format of the font with tags. This is great for those of you who know how to use HTML but are weary about diving into JavaScript.

code:
<html>
<body>
<marquee><h2>This is the moving text moving from right to left. No JavaScript required!</h2></marquee>

</body>
</html>

Enjoy! Very Happy

Just a note to people planning to use this, it is much less compatible then using a javascript alternative. Marquee only works in Internet Explorer.

true, but how many people actually use other browsers?

besides, if you really need to, you can send difference pages based on the browser... such as MSN that sends screwed up pages to opera cuz they dont like it.

FireFox was introduced in 2004.

pfft, you don't need IE to update windows; it'll do that on it's own now (if you tell it to... and it's oh so annoyingly insitant that you do).
